Is the BagWasher recyclable?

The BagWasher itself is made with FDA approved plastic and is 100% recycled It is made frm FDA certifed food safe plastic and after a very long life it is 100% recycleable.
Does the BagWasher collapse for storing?

The BagWasher does collapse for easy storage, while still ensuring that the entire bag is washed and dried as efficiently as possible. Reusing zip-top bags by washing them in the dishwasher helps reduce the amount of plastic waste going into your trash can and lowers waste going to the landfill. Washing zip-top plastic bags in the dishwasher effectively cleans the bags.
Does the BagWasher fit a silicone-style bag?

Yes, the silicone bags do fit BagWasher. In the future, we will have more BagWasher sizes available. While silicone bags are a wonderful option for food storage millions of Americans still use the zip-top style plastic bags for freezing foods and are still considered the easiest least expensive go-to option for food storage. Americans are so accustomed to grabbing a box of zip-top bags at the store that it’s almost second nature. Recycling those zip-top bags usually requires a separate company or drop-off place to recycle that type of plastic film bag. Wash, reuse wash, and reuse, again and again. Reduce plastic waste one bag at a time.
Is the BagWasher a US made product?

Yes. The BagWasher is designed, manufactured, and shipped from Colorado. It is manufactured by way of injection mold. Manufactured in Longmont Co. All packaging and components are intended to be handled and fulfilled by U.S. based partners, and all parts of the BagWasher, including packaging, are recyclable.
How much space does it take up in the dishwasher?

The gallon bag washer is 8.5 inches high and 5 inches deep so it takes approximately the same space as 2 dinner plates. The quart bag washer measures 6 inches high and 3.5 inches deep, about the same size your cereal bowl cover
What types of bags work with BagWasher?

BagWasher is designed to work with standard thin plastic, press-to-seal food storage bags (commonly known as Ziploc®-style bags), including standard quart and gallon sizes. BagWasher is also terrific to use with silicone bags, and you may find that silicone bags fit interchangeably with both quart and gallon sizes. Testimonials confirm that the Gallon Chefs Preserve bag are well suited for the Quart BagWasher.
