waste reduction

Refuse > Reuse > Reduce > Recycle and don’t forget > Repair

Refuse

Avoid using or politely refuse to accept single use containers for example: styro foam food to-go boxes, single-use water bottles, and straws

Reuse

Resist the impulse to “throw-away” something you can reuse or re purpose. This is when BagWasher come in!

Reduce

Select products that have minimal or eco-friendly packaging. 
For example- Buy eggs that are packaged in card board containers NOT Styrofoam.

Recycle

Take hard-to-recycle items to community drop-off locations. Sign up for a hard-to-recycle porch pick-up service. Acquire a free shipping label to return the item to the manufacturer.
